Puppy

Gray and I went to the mall for lunch, then we went to the pet store to look at the dogs. Well they had a corgi (www.pembrokecorgi.org/introd.html). No I didn't buy a dog. Andy and I really want to get a Corgi. They are small/med dogs but they think they are BIG dogs. Gray and I played with the puppy. I wanted to see if the breed would be okay with Grayson. He loved that the dog was smaller than he was, which is great because this puppy was almost full grown. Gray was fine with leaving the puppy at the store. I told him when he and his brother were older his daddy and I would get them a puppy. He was fine with that. I don't think that right now is a good time to have a new puppy in the house.

Baby Book

Today I decided to make a baby book for Gray. I feel like a bad mommy, I have never put any thing in a scrapbook or baby book for Gray. I figured I need to make one before Gray's little brother arrives. So I went through my pictures online and uploaded them to Costco for developing. I also found a pair of nice Leather scrapbooks. I plan on getting them so One book is Gray's and one for the baby. Gray was funny he didn't like the green book he wanted to Red one. Which I don't care It's his book.

EBay and Cloth Diapers!!

EBay is a wonderful thing!! Or a really bad thing depending on how one looks at. I won my first auction yesterday and I am currently bidding/ watching 3 others. I'm trying to buy Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers. I've done really well so far. And I am making sure I don't spend full price on used diapers. I would prefer to buy used F/B Diapers rather than new because they are cheaper and it continues the recycling circle. I am sick of throwing disposable away, to me it's money "down the toilet". I guess it's the Monkert (Grandma) in me. Monkert (her real name was Ruth) was definitely a penny pincher.

I know some of you out there are saying to yourself "cloth diapers? She's nuts!" I guess I am but I want to be different. I don't want to fill up The world that God made for us with Dirty diapers. I feel that He gave us this world and we are to be good stewards of all that God gives us. That means Everything: Our talents, MONEY , family, friends, natural resources ....the list could go on "forever" :)
