Gray was a Bird for Halloween. He cought on to asking for candy. Daddy said they could have gotten more, but he knew that we we didn't need more candy in the house. We also dicovered that if you go about an hour after dark you get more candy. People start giving more candy to get rid of it. I think the Teenagers in the neighborhood have known this for a while. I also think we were tricked. There was a pair of boys early in the evening and then I think the same boys came by a second time several hours later.


Cousin Alex may recognize the costume. Thanks for passing it to us. Gray Really like the the bird.

Yes I know what you are thinking, He's only 3months old!! I didn't give it to him, it was Gray!!

I was in the kitchen getting Gray's supper ready and Tracy was screaming. I said "It's okay Tracy boy I'll come feed you in a minute." Then I hear "I help" followed by Gagging. I ran over to Tracy and flipped him over and beat him on the back. Well nothing came out and he started moving air again. After I made sure he was fine I asked Gray what happened, and with a big grin He proudly said ..Tracy teddy Graham... I repeated to him and Gray said it again. Well I finally got it! Then I asked Gray ..did you put a teddy Graham in tracy..s mouth??.. , Yeah was his reply. My mind began to race, what now Tracy seems to be fine but he..s 3m old and he has a chocolate Teddy graham in his little belly, what do I do??
Well, thankfully my peds office uses the nurse line at Vandy children..s. The nurse giggled when I told her what happened and once she realized that Tracy was fine she reassured me that he was indeed fine. He might have a belly ache and may have a slight rash (do to the chocolate)
We now have a new rule for Gray. We do not put ANYTHING in Tracy..s mouth.

Other than that all is good in our house.

Wedding, September 9, 2006

Today 's wedding was the BEST!! It was so sweet. The families were great and so nice. The only thing they asked of me (and they asked right away!) was for help when lining up to enter the church for the ceremony. The bride was very organized and she had everything done before hand so she and everyone else could get ready for ceremony and enjoy themselves. Their Pastor was very greatful I was here to help them get down the aile and to get hitched (his words not mine)

Oh and THE AC WORKED TODAY!! Yes we had a wedding here when the ac was not working!

Weddings

I know that my title may sound strange. For those of you who don’t know I am now the Wedding Hostess for Christ Community Church. Most of the weddings are performed in downtown Franklin in the chapel. This is a really great job for me in this time of my life. I great the wedding party let them know where things are in the building and clean up when the wedding is over. HARD! And it is not every Saturday. I know at least a month ahead of time before hand. Andy has had fun watch the boys, even though he has had his mom every wedding so far. This position has been a real blessing for me; it has given me time to myself (while the wedding party gets ready, 2-3 hours). And this time I brought the computer too. Yay!! The building has a wireless network!!! Mommy can type with out help.

BAFFLING

I am completly baffled by some of the people at my church. The sunday school class that Andy and I attended for a short while, keeps asking me to help supply meals to other moms who have had babies. BUT they never offered to bring us even one meal. And yes they know we just had a baby. That hurts!

I work in the nursery and take care of their kids, which is why I am still on the classes mailing list, and I see them every sunday. I can't belive that they are asking me to feed these mommas while I struggling to keep my own head above water. I also don't know if I should tell them to just stop asking me because I have a two year old and an EIGHT WK old of my own. Or if I should let it alone.

Part of me wants to tell them to stop asking for the next couple of months and make sure I send a copy of the email to the ss teacher. But I know that seems petty so I won't do that.

I just feel like they keep asking me to do more and more for them and they don't see that I am only one person, who feels like she's drowning.

I laid Tracy on his side and then he got himself on his belly. I don't think he has ever slept so soundly downstairs.

But It might have something to do with the fact that his brother is not playing in the room.

I can't belive how big Tracy is now. I know he is almost 8weeks old. But I feel like only a month has gone by. Wow













Momma where's Daddy?? He's at work, okay well where's brother? He went to Papa and Grandma's . You mean we are home alone??? What are we going to do??
